A photochromic treatment must be applied to regular lenses, with or without prescription. This treatment is composed of lots and lots of photochromic molecules that continually react and adapt to UV rays.

Yes! Blue light and UV rays are on the same spectrum, but blue light is not as strong. Photochromic lenses can protect against both blue light and UV rays, reducing glare, eye fatigue, and strain. They allow the right amount of light to reach your eyes, keeping them comfortable.
