Le Panier Bleu , or blue basket, is a nonprofit organization that catalogues Quebec companies to help consumers identify locally-made products. The government-financed project was recently launched as a means to provide local business owners with visibility as well as resources to assist them in their digital transformation, should they need it.
The ongoing global crisis has increased many people’s interest in contributing to their local economy, and the Panier Bleu is just the tool to guide them. The website allows you to search for products and services by category, keyword or location – so you can plan your locally-minded shopping.
Entrepreneurs can register their company directly on the very same website (just like we did!), drawing attention to a common goal for both consumers and providers, namely to support their communities.
As a Quebec-founded, family-owned business we take great pride in designing all of our products at our Montreal studio and aspire to widen our selection of entirely Canadian-made frames. Check out our Made in Canada collection for a taste!
Oh and P.S., we’re proud to say that BonLook’s CEO Sophie Boulanger sits on the Panier Bleu’s board of directors!
